Bradley Hodge top-scored with an unbeaten 47 and was aided by Darren Stevens (40). There were also 47 extras as Pakistan found it hard to control the ball in bright conditions.In reply, Pakistan’s openers made easy going of Leicestershire’s bowling. Imran Nazir hit 30 and Mohammed Hafeez made 54. And when they were both eventually out with the score at 132-2, Pakistan were in cruise control. Yousuf Youhana and Misbuh ul-Haq were the only failures as they both fell for 3 and even though Jeremy Snape trapped Yassir Hamad lbw for 48, it was too little too late as Rashid Latif (40*) and Younis Khan (45*) cruised to victory with three overs to spare. For Leicestershire, Hodge was the pick of the bowlers with 3 for 19.
