A new report suggests Bayer Leverkusen superstar Florian Wirtz has agreed to personal terms with Bayern Munich, facilitating a summer transfer.

is reporting that a contract agreement between Wirtz and the Bavarian giants has been reached, giving Bayern a leg up over their competitors for the 21-year-old. However, Bayern have yet to agree a fee with their Bundesliga title rivals. The player has a €125 million (£106m/$142m) release clause in his contract, that would need to be met for Leverkusen to part company with their prized asset. Wirtz's deal runs out in 2027.

Bayern can expect fierce competition from abroad, as both Manchester City and Real Madrid have been heavily linked with the player. Previous reporting has suggested the 21-year-old would prefer a move to the Spanish capital.
