Say what you want about Leeds United’s transfer dealings in recent times, but one thing they’ve been very good at is shifting their deadwood.
Indeed, the Whites haven’t waited around when it comes to getting rid of players they no longer need.
Last summer saw Yosuke Ideguchi, Vurnon Anita and Caleb Ekuban all leave the club on a permanent basis, while Lewie Coyle and Pawel Cibicki were January casualties.
However, throughout the mass clear-outs of the past two windows, one man has inexplicably remained at Elland Road, but that may not be the case for too much longer.

What’s the story then?
Football Insider are reporting that Kamil Miazek could finally be on his way out of Leeds United.
The Pole’s contract is up in the summer and it seems as though the Yorkshire club have no intention of offering him a new deal. Rangers were interested in the player in January.
Despite now being 23 years old, the goalkeeper is still yet to appear for the Whites in a senior game, and with Illan Meslier and Elia Caprile now seemingly above him in the pecking order, as shown by Saturday’s matchday squad, it’s probably for the best that he leaves the club.
Should have already happened
While this report doesn’t surprise us, we’re actually left asking ourselves how he managed to stay on the books for this long.
The site report that Rangers were interested in January and Leeds should have done everything they could to have made that deal happen.
Keeping Miazek at the club is helping absolutely nobody, it’s a waste of wages on Leeds’ part and a waste of time for the Pole because his route into the first team looks increasingly hard to navigate.
Truth be told, Miazek should have been gone a long time ago, if you’ve not made your first-team debut by the age of 23 it’s hard to see that breakthrough ever coming, so this move makes the world of sense for all parties.
In other news, Patrick Bamford needs to up his game as he’s being outshined by this 21 y/o.
