The Portland Thorns forward and Wilson, who last week finished a promising first season in the NFL with the Arizona Cardinals, jetted off to enjoy some much-deserved downtime. Smith scored 11 goals in 18 NWSL appearances for the Thorns last season, helping them reach the playoffs.

Posting on Instagram Stories, Smith showed off her beachside drink and snack along with an image of Wilson drinking from a coconut along side the caption: "All I need in life."

Smith and Wilson have been a couple since meeting at Stanford University where they both represented the Cardinal in their respective sports before being drafted as professionals.
The pair celebrated five years together in a recent social media post.
