Luis Enrique was appointed as head coach of PSG in 2023, with a treble with Barcelona already on his CV. In his debut season at Parc des Princes, the Spanish manager achieved the bare minimum of firing Les Parisiens to Ligue 1 victory, but the Champions League evaded them, getting knocked out in the semi-finals by Borussia Dortmund. However, unlike other years, PSG opted against firing the manager, placing their bets on Luis Enrique's experience and tactical nous. This season, he guided PSG to an almost invincible Ligue 1 triumph, their maiden Champions League, as well as the Coup de France.
